Founder Profile

Zied Hamzi

Founder & Managing Director

Zied Hamzi is the Founder and Managing Director of AFRICONNECT CONSULTING, bringing more than 26 years of international experience in the telecommunications industry across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.

Prior to founding AFRICONNECT CONSULTING, Zied served as Head of Services Delivery for Sub-Saharan Africa at Nokia, where he led the delivery, deployment, and operational management of large-scale telecommunications programs across more than 27 countries. During his 18-year career at Nokia, he held a variety of leadership positions spanning services sales, program and project management, delivery excellence, operational management, and the successful launch of major network deployment projects and new country operations.

Before joining Nokia, Zied spent 8 years with Alcatel, where he specialised in the integration and deployment of Alcatel network management platforms, supporting complex telecommunications projects for leading operators.
